Imperium Commodity Search is working with an established bunker trader based in Germany that has a presence across Europe, Asia, and the US specializing in lubricant oils, bunker supply, and trading.
Our client is looking to increase their visibility in Denmark with the addition of an experienced bunker trader with market relationships specifically in Denmark and across Europe.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Expansion of bunker/marine fuel/MGO/ULSFO trading business in Denmark and across Europe
- Creating relationships with ship charterers/owners/operators in local and major European/global ports
- Responsible for maintaining existing partnerships for sourcing of bunker/marine fuels and lubricants
- Communicate efficiently with back office team to execute trades in a timely manner
- Provide market analysis and intel on bunker/marine fuel market accurately
Experience:
- Demonstrable track record/PnL in bunker trading
- Key experience in building and managing relationships with ship owners/charterers/operators
- Existing relationships with ports in Denmark and major hubs worldwide
- Fluent in English. Danish and/or German speaking is beneficial
- 4+ years’ trading experience in the bunker/marine fuels/lubricants industry
