Imperium Commodity Search is working with an established brokerage built upon their expertise in the Biofuels and Environmental products sector. The firm is has seen large growth over the last few years with the demand for expertise within biofuels and Environmental space increasing daily, they are seeking a couple of experienced brokers to join the team in London & Europe. With multiple locations across Europe the company offers an innovative solutions approach to the Biofuels covering mainly Physical (Biodiesel, Feedstocks, Ethanol, Biogas and more) to a multitude of Majors, Suppliers and traders across Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Research and develop business for the physical bio-fuels sectors across the French, Spanish and Portuguese markets, Identifying key market participants promoting companies unique offerings.
- Build Relations with Majors, Suppliers, Traders, Corporates within the Biofuels market to execute business (Feedstocks, ethanol, biodiesel, green diesel and biogas)
- Provide Analytical Market / Pricing reports to clients within the Biofuels Markets across France, Portuguese, Spain and other European nations.
- Day to Day brokering of Physical Feedstocks, Biodiesel, Ethanol, Biogas etc continuously developing business within the Niche market areas of Biofuels.
- Work with senior management on expansion of existing business across Europe identifying new markets and Geographies.
Experience:
- 3+ years’ experience in energy brokerage covering the Environmental or Biofuels markets (Physical or Derivative)
- Good understanding of the European Biofuels markets across (Biodiesel, Feedstocks, Ethanol)
- Strong relations with key market participants (Traders, Majors, Suppliers, Corporates etc) is highly desirable.
- Experience in analysing market and pricing reports / spreads within the energy sector.
- Fluent in English (Bilingual – French or Spanish is preferable)
