Imperium Commodity Search is pleased to be working with a brokerage built from the ground up over a decade ago to support international trade houses, financial institutions, along with corporates within the Biofuels & Renewables markets. With multiple European offices the company is seeking an experienced Biofuels broker to join the London desk to help manage and maximise the group’s current portfolio alongside continuing to grow the company’s global offerings. Our client offers a great platform and market insight for experienced brokers to continue to grow their own & company’s portfolio with market leading strategies and tailor-made client solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote companies biofuels product offerings across the Physical and Derivative markets globally.
  • Execute physical and futures trades across the biofuels markets (ethanol, biodiesel, Bio gasoline, green diesel and biogas)
  • Analyze and produce market and risk reports for clients including financial institutes, End users, Biofuel producers and trade houses.
  • Build and Maintain relations with 3rd parties including research houses, traders, producers to stay on top of market insights.
  • Build profitable portfolio of execution and risk management business within the biofuels markets.

Experience:

  • 4+ years’ experience in energy brokerage (physical and futures markets)
  • Understanding of the global biofuels markets, trade hubs, Trade flows, Market Risk, Market Price etc.
  • Desire to develop new business within the biofuels market as well as manage profitable portfolio.
  • Good understanding of Physical biofuel and exchange processes/listed derivatives.
  • Fluent in English (Located in UK or willing to relocate)
