Job Title: Non-Ferrous Metal Trader
Salary: Negotiable

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia
Imperium Commodity Search is working with a non-ferrous/base metal trading house looking to grow their CEE team through the addition of a non-ferrous trader to their Bratislava office.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain relationships with customers/suppliers across the base metals business (aluminium, tin, lead, nickel, zinc etc)
- Expand the trading network across CEE and actively trade base metal products (scrap and/or primary product / alloys) across the region
- Work closely with operations teams to ensure smooth logistics and processing of trading book
- Promote the companies products and services across trading, sales, sourcing and logistics
- Identify new opportunities and capitalise on movements in the base metals / non-ferrous markets
Experience:
- 3-5+ years’ experience in a metals / scrap trading house
- Strong relationships in the CEE (Central Eastern Europe) region, ideally in Czechia, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania etc.
- Solid understanding of aluminium and other base metals / alloys
- Understanding of operations/logistics
- Fluent in English and another European language (Slovak, Czech, Polish, German, Hungarian etc)
