Title: Aluminium (Aluminum) Scrap Trader

Imperium Commodity Search is working with an international trading house that has a focus on the supply and sale of physical non-ferrous metals. For this vacancy, our client is looking for a candidate with expertise sourcing and selling Aluminium Scrap within the European Markets.

Responsibilities:

• Trading physical aluminium scrap within the European markets
• Actively build and maintain relationships across aluminium scrap with the view of identifying new trading opportunities
• Deliver product advisory services to clients in order negotiate the best payment terms
• Organize trades with shipping and logistics teams while ensuring all back office and admin requirements are up to date enabling timely delivery of product
• Required to travel to meet clients around Europe, may also need to travel for other events to support business development of aluminium scrap portfolio

Experience:

• 3 or more years’ experience in a back to back trading role covering aluminium scrap products
• Good relationships with Aluminium suppliers across Europe
• Exceptional understanding of the scrap metal market across Europe, specifically aluminium
• Can develop and manage own physical trading portfolio of aluminium/aluminum scrap
• Must speak English (German as an additional language is highly beneficial)
