Job Title:  Aluminium Scrap Trader (Physical)

Imperium Commodity Search is looking for an experienced Aluminium Scrap Trader to join the sourcing division of our Base Metal trading client. Our Client specializes within the Non-Ferrous Scrap and Primary Metals sectors, a market built upon deep relations and transparency. With a primary focus on the UK and European physical trading markets.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible Sourcing Aluminium Scrap across Europe and trading into UK and European Markets.
  • Day to Day Execution of Physical Metal (Aluminium Scrap) trades managing relations with Traders, Smelters, Producers.
  • Extensive Knowledge of the Europeans non-ferrous, primary and scrap metals markets providing in-depth Analysis and trade solutions.
  • Communicating with Scrap suppliers and end-user customers developing and leveraging upon the group’s portfolio of business creating a profitable book of business.
  • Maintaining relationships with Aluminium Scrap customers creating individual solutions, Tailoring quantities, Logistics, Price and quality.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 Years trading or Sourcing Aluminium Scrap or Scrap Metals within the European Markets.
  • Key knowledge of the trends and trading strategies within the Aluminium and Metals Markets.
  • Experience building and maintaining relations with the Scrap Metals suppliers and Customers within the commodities industry with large corporate firms.
  • Exceptional understanding of Risk and Data analytics.
  • Located in UK or Europe (Willing to relocate)
