Job Title: Agriculture Broker (physical)
Salary: Negotiable

We are pleased to be working with a boutique physical grain and feed ingredients brokerage based in the UK looking to add a senior broker to their team that has experience with grains, feed, maize, biomass or oilseeds
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Will take responsibility for broking physical grain, feed grains, feedstuffs, maize, biomass or oilseeds across the UK, Europe and USA
- Develop and maintain relations with suppliers including millers, maltsters, crushers and feedstuff producers
- Be able to offer live insight for physical grain pricing to enhance companies’ platform
- Create and retail working relationships with trading houses across Europe and the US
- Stay current on industry trends and news and understand global demand for grains and feed ingredients
- Maintain good communication lines with third parties including producers, suppliers and traders to ensure efficient and timely execution of trades
Requirements:
- Above 3 years’ experience within a physical brokerage within an agricultural company
- Experience managing a successful portfolio of business across grains, feed grains, feedstuff, maize, biomass and oilseeds
- Good understanding of the physical agriculture market
- Fluent in English (another language beneficial)
- Must have a profitable book of clients
