Imperium is pleased to be representing and established derivatives brokerage focused on the European energy sectors with a broad scale of product offerings to the commercial markets. With a strong client base within the Power, Gas and Freight sector, our client is looking to further strengthen their team covering Coal options.

Located in London our client offers a wealth of expertise surrounding the derivative markets and risk analytics, with continuous growth ambitions across these markets. Offering extensive career progression and competitive salary supported by a strong commission structure.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Onboard and manage client relationships across the Coal Derivatives Space focused on the European, Asia and African Markets.
  • Actively promote the firm’s extensive product offerings covering risk management and market analysis.
  • Broke Coal options to several International clients maintaining strong and professional relations within the market.
  • Provide real time market analysis and data reports to traders and suppliers covering the Coal options and derivative markets.
  • Represent the companies range of contracts and solution lead services through their extensive network of industry supplier and producers.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience within an energy derivatives brokerage
  • Solid experience in options with a sound understanding of the structure of these products focused on the Coal market.
  • Experience across the European energy market with proven ability to build and maintain long standing relations within the sector.
  • Excellent understanding of the financial Coal markets with strong analytical abilities.
  • Portfolio of business or strong network of clients in the space.
