Title: Senior Fertilizer Trader (chemical)

Imperium Commodity Search is working alongside a SME Trading house with a global reach. Their focus is based on on trading physical products within the soft commodity sector. For this position we are on the lookout for a senior Trader covering Fertilizers including Nitrogen, Potash, Phosphate and NPK fertilizers.
Our client are open to speaking with a candidate covering any geography but must be based in Singapore or be eligible to work in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
- Trader will be responsible for developing and maintain physical book of chemical fertilizer across Nitrogen, Potash, Phosphate and NPK fertilizers
- Take accountability for PNL across Fertilizer business
- Market fertilizer products (Nitrogen, Potash, Phosphate and NPK) to end users throughout Asia/ Europe/ US/ Africa/ Middle East
- Develop business across producers and end-users within the chemical fertilizer market across Asia/ Europe/ US/ Africa/ Middle East
- Work alongside senior management, logistics and admin team in order to ensure accurate delivery of product
- Stay current on industry news across fertilizers to be able to capitalize on trading opportunities and grow business
Experience:
- 5+ years industry practice working withing a physical trading house
- Experience within a senior trading position covering the chemical fertilizer markets across Nitrogen, Potash, Phosphate and NPK fertilizers
- Transferable portfolio of business across Fertilizers within any geography
- Fluency in English necessary, any other additional languages beneficial
